Hello, just collected my first Defender today and realised that it had a higher spec than advertised. All very well except I don't need certain things and the funds would pay for better upgrades.
First question is whether there is a market for a LR winch and front A frame (it appears unused with the gloves and remote still in plastic). Car has only done 1800 miles.
Secondly I will be using her extensively in Europe; what is the most sensible LHD light conversion and is that an opportunity to upgrade the lights themselves . I've seen lots of talk about weak lights but don't know if that I still the case with 10 MY cars.

Not the left twix FFS that's only for warn 8247 winches. right twix and arf a mars for anything else. :rulez:

A packet of strawberry laces, and a wagon wheel which I stood on 4 weeks ago, oh and a chocolate brownie..................at least I think that's what it is? It's brown and nutty and wrapped in cling film, found it in the side pocket of my van

You will need a standard bumper. It might be over spec but you never know when a winch is handy.

Dont worry about this lot offering stupid sweets and chocolate for your winch mate its worth more than that..... now i dont want or need a winch but im prepared to put meself out and do you a favour, ill bring to the table a broken iron (could be fuse), a radiator cap off a mini (could do with a clean) and a bottle of Mr Muscle Window Cleaner (half full) and for today only i have a broken fence panel (could be used for kindling)
ill await your PM and meet you half way for the exchange

Il swap the fence panel for a hole I dug in my garden and no longer need??
