Hi,
I've got a 2004 V8 Disco 2, LHD, which I love to bits and generally runs beautifully.
I live in Saudi so the A/C is obviously very important. There is a small fan behind a small grille thing on the dash next to the steering column (see pic) which makes a really irritating buzzing noise because some of the blades are knackered. I disconnected it and the A/C lost most of its power so I assume it's connected to the blower in some way. I'm coming to England for a few days and want to get a replacement but I went on Ebay and looked for blower fans and none of the parts looked like mine (see pics - sorry they're blurry but getting a camera round the back of the dash was very hard! Also sorry they're attachments - can't work this URL stuff)
It fits on with 2 screws and the fans on ebay didn't have equivalent holes. The back cover of the fan is also different - mine's almost flush and metal, the ones on ebay have a protruding bit and look plastic.
So - can anyone tell me what the part actually is so I can search it out? It's so fiddly to get at that I don't want to buy the wrong thing and then spend hours fiddling and cursing for nothing!
