Had Landrover Assist out today to get me going in my 2005 90. Its done 51,000 miles and never let me down till last night when it kept stalling and would not start. I finally got home 4 hours late... Seems that the underseat relay (especially the middle yellow one) next to the fuse box (big amperage) was loose and the repair guy said i should keep an eye on the wiring and relays as it is a common problem.

So any idea what I need to do. I was going to buy 3 new relays and recrimp into the wiring loom but any advice would be welcome as t what relays are required and just what is needed to keep me running. Thanks

Use a wee screwdriver to tighen up the connectors they go into.

Check for corrosion in all of them, and reseat them, see if it makes it better.

Just check to make sure they aren't working loose during your regular maintenance checks. I only check mine once a month. To be honest there isn't that much more you can do apart from bending the connectors a touch to make em a tighter fit.

Many thanks all - appreciate the responses - I'll just tighten then up and see what happens.
