Ok I don't understand. What is the real difference between a 4x4 tyre and a car tyre? The load index is the same, size the same and the speed rating can be higher with a car tyre. So why a 4x4 tyre instead of a car tyre. My drinving is boring on the road only as I don't want to damage £11k worth of car. I know I'm a pretend 4x4 driver but your advice is greatly appreciated.

I can't honestly beleive I am answering this...but surely....the answer is the tread pattern and depth and the compound?
