Yes guys, searched the site and google so i apologise for the repeated tyre thread!

Anyway, Im in need of some tyres, 90 is fitted with 2 inch lift, and have some black modular wheels. As you know, tyres are an expensive game, and dont want to end up buying the wrong size and regretting.

There is a big difference in price from 265, to any bigger really. So has anyone got any pictures of their defenders with 265 tyres, how do they look in the arches? And do they wished they would have gone bigger?
285's are much more expensive, but ideally would be my ideal choice

Ive seen 265 special tracks on my 90, and i like the image, just not the tyre (remould)

265/75/16 with 2" lift

I have 265 s on my defender which has a 2" lift. they look perfectly proportioned without causing any difficulties and are a reasonable price to buy.

Cheers guys. 265 is as much as i can afford really. Just wanted to see what it looked like, or hold out far longer for bigger. But they look good. Cheers

Whats wrong with remoulds I have always had remoulds on my landy's without any probs insa turbo special tracks 265 / 75 x 16

I tend to agree however bronco did an amazing job or delaminating at speed.

Nowadays tho the regs are quite strict on how they make remoulds I wouldn't have thought it be much to worry about.
