So, I've seen lots of talk about tyres (of course) and there is a lot of love for the Nexen Rodian. But the majority of threads are from those with 18" wheels.

Now I have 16" wheels, so the choices are different. The Nexen Rodian AT seems to be available in that size (though, strangely, Nexen's uk website doesn't seem to agree with that) but has a lower wet-grip rating than the 18" Rodian HPs.

I have found the Hankook Dynapro HP RA23 for a similar price that seems to have good ratings.

I wonder if any of you 16" wheelers have any insight?

Had the Hankook tyres on my Hyundai Galloper, I was very happy with them.

I went for Goodyear Wranglers AT on mine, really pleased with them so far

Had a mixture of General Grabber AT and Scorpion ST on the 16" rims and both were fine.

MrGorsky has Nexen on his and the ride is good. Very good actually.

I have Kuhmo Road Venture (can't remember exact name) and they are rather good on road. Although as the name suggests they quickly come unstuck in mud or even gravel roads. I couldn't keep up with a green fleet 110 round bends because I kept under steering while the 110 had no dramas.

Hankook on 19" rims were OK on road but terrible off road. Cannot remember the exact type.

I had Wranglers on 18" rims before the Nexens, they were much worse for tramlining and noisy too.
