i have just put some wheels and tyres on my 90..the tyres are 235/85/16 anyone know what the correct pressure is i should be putting in???..ta rich

how long's a piece of string?

I run mine at 30psi, other think different.

blimey im getting mine well wrong then..when i pumped them up there was only 25psi in them,so i inflated them to 50psi as anything below that they looked well bulged out at the bottom..is this too high then??

If yer wanna get em spot on fer your vehicle...

Find a nice piece of smooth, level tarnac.
Draw some chalk lines across the surface of yer tyres.
Drive forward a few yards then look at the chalk marks.
If they've worn away more in the middle of the tyre than on the outside, yer pressure is too high.
If they've worn away more on the outside than in the middle, yer pressure is too low.
If they've worn away evenly over the width of the tyre, yer pressure is just right.

I go with about 40psi front and rear for mostly road driving and drop it a bit if I'm goin to spend some time in some muck. Having said that I got meself into some proper claggy axle deep **** this afternoon, got stuck twice but managed to get going again by a bit of judicious rocking back and forth, and without messin with the tyres at all.

Going by a similar question in LRO a few months back i now set mine at 28psi front and 35 rear.

50 psi is pushing it a bit, you will get excellent fuel economy and probably the lightest steering ever but the vehicle handling characteristics are going to be seriously compromised.

Has anyone ever asked the tyre manufacturer what they reccomend? Doesn't mean they're right but it'd be a start.
