Quick question -

Are 116T good for a 300tdi 110 csw?
That's 1250kg / 118mph

So, on paper, it looks to me to be more than adequate, but im never sure how much margin you should have with these things.

Its more the weight than the speed - if you go 118mph in a 90s defender, i think something else is likely to kill you before the tyres!
 
The downloaded user manual I have quotes the max rear axle weight is 1750kg for a 110 CSW, on page 164 for reference. So would think having tyres that can cope with 1250kg each side exceeds the vehicles maximum legal weight. That's using logic though, so whether that's right or not in the eyes of the law I don't know??

My 90 CSW has tyres which are rated 120/123 from memory. Think the 2nd figure is for when 2 tyres are ran side by side.
