1) has anyone fitted a steering rack to a td5 if so which one?
2) best place for airbags

td5 dont have steering rack ,has a steering box new from £300 ish most parts suppliers buys parts from same whoesalers so pick best advice, price etc
 
Best place for airbags - steering wheel and passenger dash to start with then possibly both sides of the vehicle:):):)

With reference to the rack i wondered if anyone had retro fitted a rack instead of the box and the airbags are the suspaension airbags

I would imagine a stering rack would be far to weak vunerable. IMHO, the boxes on Landrovers are great and do a good job, so not sure why the need to look to change.

best place for airy bags is your airy sack... dont actually make sense, but never mind ... he is pulling your chain
