Hi all
I am fitting a truck cab to my 88" unfortunately I didn't get the filler plate with the cab. I know I can get one off ebay but £100 is a bit steep, has anyone done anything different to fill this gap?

Hmm thanks for the heads up £60 with postage phew they are certainly trying it on. On the upside I notice this doesn't have a stop in it that looks easier to make.

You don't really need it. Yes there is a small gap but it really doesn't cause a problem.
I only bought one because it was local and cheap, and tbh with it on the rest of the cab doesn't fit as well. I may have bought a crap 1 though! The gap can be filled with pipe insulation but it's a series so not like it's draft free anyway.

Wouldnt have thought it had to be made of metal, surely a bit of cheap ply would do? You'd only need an offcut

nah.. spend the money and do it right or get a cheaper hobby.. like drawing..
