Maybe an obvious one this but any tips or tricks to keeping the old disco on the road. Please bear in mind that a weekly trip to the Land rover dealership is outside my price range!!!

1. Keep on top of the rust.
2. Change the oil and filters.
3. Keep away from britpart.

well being in dubai unless you drive it in the sea rust wont be an issue either

Keep the rust at bay,give em a decent service every now and then, log it when you do . Check em over every week or so for basic runing stuff should keep em on the road have fun .

next month is rust proofing month. However the one thing that does mess with the vehicles is the heat and the UV element of the sun which makes plastics turn brittle and dries gaskets etc. So i am a little worried about presssure washing the underside prior to the rust proofing as it may be the dirt that is keeping things together. !!!!

So J.P.S why no bio diesel; must be still expensive to run on 100 % veg oil. Spent years runnig my cit. BX's on home made bio ..cheap as....... well chips with free soap to sell too.
