trewy ....... how much did the shocks and springs set ya back......i take it they are a 2" lift.....also where did they come from .....do they ride nice on the road....thanks mate

Terrafirma stuff can be bought from Allmakes 4x4. They have a few places that sell them but i got mine from Frogs Island 4x4 who are based in Oxford. they are around 250-275 for 4 springs and 4 shocks.

well that depends on what you want to use them for. Terra do 3 setups. light/med/HD.

med is 200-300kg additional load
HD is 300+

not sure on the light.

you need to work out the weight of additional equipment you have added and propose to add. Ive gone med as i plan to add a cage in the next few weeks (100kg) along with my winch and other bits. most of the time the load area is empty so mediums suit my everyday requirements. When i go to Morocco, i will swap the rear springs for HD's to put up with the load in the rear.

I've got mediums too, with a winch on the front.
I put 500kg of pheasant food in the back yesterday and the rears hardly compressed! I don't think you'll need heavy duty ones!

500! what you need that much for! will do a shakedown trip to Wales before Moroc see how they perform. I hope your right dont want to fork out for more springs.

They'll be fat pleasant fookers with that much feed. The twarts'll never get off the ground. Still makes fer an easy shoot ah suppose.

we've got 500 six week old poults out in the woods.
between now and next January, they'll get through 2 tonnes of high-energy pellets (at £350 per tonne) and 5 tonnes of wheat (at £180 per tonne).

tis an expensive game this shootin!
