Chris,

I got mine from Mill Services. At the front end there is a welded on bracket. This attaches using the big bolt in the foot of your bulkhead. At the rear there is a smaller bracket, and you are supplied with thick lengths of bar steel. Using this you attach to outriggers and drilling is required. Quite straight forward although you really need to drop the fuel tank for the O/S to do it.

Sorry, only got one picture that roughly shows the front end. This was a test fitting, so the tank is still in place.

How much were they protractor? Your landy looks damn shiney! I was thinking of making a set of these as I seem to bash my skirts (?) fairly regularly. I see the main advantage as somewhere easy and strong to jack at the side of the car.

YW Chris.

Rusty, they are here Land Rover Accessories from Mill Services £105 plain galved. Thanks for the comment about my Landy, Its an 80% complete rebuild. i have a whole thread on it at landrovernet.com (user JayHoe)

These bars are bolted and supposedly OK for jacking - however I agree, bolted is not best for that job. I got them for protection and a way to finish the bottom without the silly standard sill panels.

Cheers

J
