My land-rover Disco 3 tdv6, automatic is giving me an error "F" Transmission Fault Limited Gears available...this has been for some time, until one day it just packed up and could not drive while I was on the highway, after I parked at a fuel station
Today we have changed the gearbox and the toque converter but still the error is coming and is not changing gears 3 & 4 properly with a winning sound.
Please can i have some solutions, i am really fed up with this error I don't know what to do. I have just bought this car but have never enjoyed it.
 
A winning sound? Doc Evil plays that after a hard session at the gym. We Are The Champions by Queen :)

If you dont know what to do then best take it to a landrover dealer , who will ;)
 
i have taken it n thus y I had to replace the gearbox and the converter, those were the parts thy told!! but after changing those, yes it just can drive now, but the original problem is still there, and the error still coming!
I am looking for solutions!
 
I think what doc evil was hinting at in the first place was that its generally considered polite on our forum to introduce yourself first before expecting help. Head over to the introductions and you'll receive a much warmer response than me and doc discussing his ****e taste in music

Maybe this is why your gear box dont work. Maybe you bolted it to your shoe?
