Just tried to fit some electric seats in my p38 and not only do they not work but now I`ve got transfer neutral on the dash and it wont drive.

Can any one help?

Also I fitted the different seat loom but wondered if i need a relay under the bonnet?

Hi, it sounds like you may have fuse 11 fiited in the Becm fuse box. Look for a fuse in the top right hand corner of the fuse box and take it out. When a fuse is fitted it locks the tranfer box in neutral for towing and puts the message on the instrument cluster.

If the seats are a retrofit, it could be that the BECM is not coded for them. I agree with the previous post about the fuse-if it's there, remove it.

Hi Irishrover, hows things. One quick way to test if you have a becm that is not coded for Electric seats (Seat Outstations). ie a low line Becm is the "fuse 10 failure" warning on the dash.

check the fuse 11 or the seats don't go with the becm
