Hi,we have a freelander gs year 2001,which we love,just recently the traction control lights have started to stay on ,they only go off if we then stop and restart ,we are having to park on a steep slope now and wondered if this could be the problem? would be grateful for feedback

Hi, the brake pedal switch is always a favorite for that fault. The brake lights still work as it is 2 switches in one. The ABS/Traction side of the switch fails. It’s a cheap fix.
