Replacement is likely to give you the most reliable "repair" - it sounds like it could be the brake switch, but interrogating the ABS ECU would be sensible to confirm before spending money on parts. If that it is not possible, then cleaning contacts etc as HTR says, would make sense as a cheap first step!

If you look at the brake pedal switch it has a sort of self-adjusting range. Pull the central bit back out and use the brake pedal to set it back into place at the right distance.
Replacement more likely to fix, though.

just moved the switch about sprayed some wd40 the best i could very hard to reach the switch right behind the fuse box could not pull the switch out but it solved my problem again many thanks mate
