a tracker is only about 170 quid fitted with a years subscription to the traker place. if it does get nicked the cops will do the tracking and it should be found quicker than a cheapo unit youll have to track down. also your insurance should drop a fair bit having a recognised tracker system fitted :)

If the cops are doing the tracking I doubt if they will even bother to turn the unit on. I want a tracker that I am in control of as they seem to be incapable of acting on anything for themselves.
 
why not just get a metal pad fitted to ya drivers seat? wire from the alarm siren output of the alarm control module to a relay, permanent live from relay to metal pad. soon as anyone sits on it an ya alarm is sounding there gonna hurt their head on the roof;)

Hi,

I can't be bothered to read the whole list, so maybe somebody has mentioned it already.

There is a service that allows you to see where your phone is at any time. I think its intended so that you can keep track of your daughter, wife or whoever. So if you hide an old mobile phone in your truck, leave it switched on (I think), you can access its location via your PC.

Sorry, don't know what the service costs. Anyone ???
