I'm replacing all 4 tre ball joints , do I need 2x LH thread and 2x RH thread ?

Assuming you have a 300 series disco then it 3xRH and 1xLH.
Trackrod ends are both RH, drag link is RH and LH the steering box end is the RH thread.
