thats what i thought, cant see why ws just a comment someone said some time aga and i have got to collect one todaydont see why not, could be an issue for an auto box though
6 miles, that a long way to a scrapyard. Wasn't there one closer?
Can be towed with all four wheels on the ground, but they do say for short distances. (I think i read less than 50 miles??)
I towed mine for 6 miles when purchased and that was a challenge as the engine would not run and so no Power Steering or servo assisted braking!!

Steve
Ahhhh ahahahahaha
toxed one on sat from north yorkshire to brum 160 miles but the prop had already been removed, used a towing A frame 110 miles on motorway, that was fun![]()
Think I got the last laugh as I paid £550 for the vehicle and £273 to get it back on the road - and every single component works!!
Maybe so - However a fully functional freelander is only ever going to be half the vehicle a defender is!
Agreed - I would like a defender, but a) can't afford one whilst buying a house, b) dont really need the extra off road ability and c) dont like reading about condensation etc or accessories being removed at night!
