Hey another question please. Having a lot of difficulty trying to remove toe bar from my lr4. Cannot get the key to turn, sprayed realeasing oil, lib etc etc. still no joy. Any tips?

Silly question maybe, why do you want to take it off?
If it's seized, leave it be?

To be honest. Never use the Jeep to tow, kids use the tow bar to bounce on and I am fed up knocking my shins of it every time I am getting stuff out of the boot. Being the fuss pot I am I also hate the thought of something being seized when I it suppose to come off lol

Ahhhh just shows how much of a newbie I am. Forgot about the ‘landrover ligo’ sensitivities lol

does the handle you put the key into turn at all? it might well be binding and not letting the key turn
never had a removable tow-bar but assume there must be a little movement in the handle (try unlocking your front door with pressure on the handle)

So you don't mean the tow bar, you mean the detachable hitch? There is plenty of help on YouTube.

They seize, hammer and lube seems to be the answer, if you ever get it off, apply a dollop of grease when refitting it.

You should be aware, people steal them even when locked, whilst they are under there trying to nick your towball they are also checking out your spare wheel/tyre as these also get stolen.
So whilst it is a pita being seized, it is currently unnickable!
