feeling a bit confused i have a 94m reg soft dash classic been looking for wireing diagram but cant seem to find one.read that it may have a plug on drivers side but i cant see it only a black box plastic thingy what ever that is any help would be welcome

If the late classics are like the earlierl on then the plug should behind the rear light cluster, and should be accessible by removing the light from the outside.

Thats were mine is, have a landrover workshop manwel and a 94 soft dash as well.Give me a shout if you want help.

just had a look and yep its there thanks for the help.next qustion is were can i buy the plug to fit or do you reakon just cut it of and use connector strip

You can get pre wired sockets on ebay, but if you just want the plug check out Autosparks, World leading supplier of classic car wiring looms

If you don't want to use the plug, suggest you make solder joints, insulated with heat shrink tubing and taped over.
