Hi All
Can anyone help me out by recommending the best tool to replace upper and lower swivel ball joint that does not cost an arm and leg and that actually works much appreciated to all

hi Dave
Yes , just let me find the links for you, its a pain of a job , i used 2 long ball joint seperators to break both the bal joint tapers to get the swivel housing off and then used a ball joint kit with some heat and a big hammer to shock it while i had it under load from the ball joint tool to get the ball joints out, just be carfull not to melt the axle seal, tbh might be worth replacing that while you are there.
just let me dig the links out.

I managed to get away with this kit, but the were tight and it needed heat to get them out , but this kit did the job for me, the bigger kit meego posted does give you a few more options though.

Thanks for your time Colleydog91

Also no problem. It takes a bit of faffing about to work out the best order to remove/refit and what parts of the kit to use. To be honest, I borrowed a good quality kit from a mate, but these look identical and they get good reviews on here from members who have used them. Hopefully you have a source of heat if required. I didn’t need to heat mine, but others have.

And make sure you install the oil seals the correct way.
