Make sure the jump leads you use are heavy duty otherwise at best it will not jump start and at worst melt and set light to everything :eek:
 
OK. Last resort - put a jump lead (decent jump lead that is - not a car boot sale job) on the +ve battery terminal n touch it off the starter +ve - does it spin properly? Prolly gunna get shot down in flames here but so long as its not in gear shouldn't be dangerous??????????
 
gunner try and tow it out so that I can get another car close enough to leave it connected to a running motor for a bit to get some jews into the battery

yeah it needs 12.5v to start it apparently. but it's not all about volts its amps too. if my battery has lost its balls it just can't supply the pure amount of current needed, even if the small amount of current it CAN supply is strong enough
