Do the maths, atleast 4 long range top ones fitted in a arc to give you large area, two on the underside of the bumper for fogs, then atleast two on the A-bar to give you spots that are wired to your full beams ;) then you need ATLEAST two pointing back with a switch wired to the reversing lights so when your in that supermarket car park and some toser doesnt let you out of a space you light up his day ;)

Your on my boat there, that's exactly what I had in mind:D
But mainly it will serve as enhanced reverse lighting and the option of work light and hitching up trailer in the dark:lol:

I think WLM has a good point, also don't like the look of lights under the bumper.
Considered the idea of a round hole drilled in the bumper for some small round spots, but probably be to hard to achieve and libel to fek up instantly.
 
VAGRENT - would a couple of these of any use to you?

Each 3" diameter light has a 55 watt H1 bulb so, do you fancy a couple of 110 watt reversing lights?

I think I threw them out.
I just can't bring myself to chuck these away but they wouldn't look right on my Rangie, well not all six of them!

They look like they are fitted with spring clips. Are the suitable for use as map lights??? ;)
 
have tonight just finished wiring up my rear lights and i have to say there actually brighter than the ones on the roof bar

Sorry mate, must be my photo. They've got bolt on brackets like spotlights and with 2xH1 bulbs they'd probably melt your eyeballs.
Or you could fit them in your car and the guy in the car in front could possibly read his map!
 
I went into Halfrauds today looking for some replacement spots.... Looking at the recommended amperage on the instructions and comparing it with the size of cable and connectors required, I was beginning to think I was going to supply the National Grid.










I bought a small pot of Hammerite to dress the old ones with instead :eek:
 
I seem to have accidentally :)o) fitted my funny windscreen bar thing back to the roof with 4 additional spots to light up my bonnet today.
