does anyone know of some where to get timing belts changed in north west london area or swansea area. i'm being quoted 300-400 by local places i know of. i'd do it myself but its such a pig of a job that no one wants to do!

No... Just drive it til it flys off and then the valves will strike the pistons, bending the cam and you can just swap out the whole engine.

exactely. its one of the only things that i really dont wana do. i'm normally lookin for an excuse to take things apart. but then again i dont wana 300quid to have someone else cock it up
