yes ,hot enough for engine to run efficiently but no more ,ordinary coolant is fine in tdi but weak or none isnt good

Right well taken the head off this eve and its cracked between injector ports and valves on 3 of the 4 cylinders! Fooked then?
Time to look for a replacement head.

Well, new head fitted today. Got it running but it smokes like a bitch(black smoke when accelerating) and there are a lot of fumes when i take the oil filler cap off and its forcing fumes out of the crank breather filter!!! Any idea what could be wrong before i set fire to it?
