i have noticed that just before the lights come on the brake pedal shudders like i stamped hard and the abs kicked in,could anyone tell me if this is the brake switch or an abs sensor

sounds like it could be a sensor, but ready to be corrected. I think for time / aggro factor I'd change the brake pedal switch first as it is easily changed and should be less than £15

when you say the pedle shudders is this when pressing the peddle if so that sounds like ABS kicking in

mine was doing this, both of the front ABS sensors were U/S.
