I've always avoided alloy/metal gearknobs and the such as in the winter, and most days, they would be so bloody cold to touch!

Never had a problem with my knob being too cold or too hot,:p

However it is not straight.

I've got them fitted and quite like them def better looking than old standard ones nowt wrong with bit bling lol and tbh when its cold i usually have gloves on when driving as it takes so long for cab to warm up.

I've got some and they do look great. They are a bit chilly in the winter, but you get used to it and it isn't that bad. I used a little bit of threadlock (not the permanent stuff!) so once I had screwed them on and got them straight, I let them set before I drove it and they've been fine.

The main problem has been that you then want to replace everything else to match, as everything else suddenly looks tatty!

Right, well it's MOT time tomorrow. Fingers crossed I've not bought a pup but I'm fairly hopeful she's a good'un. If she passes, she will get a set as a reward!
