The Thor (4.6 Year 2000 p38) petrol fuel feed pipe no longer available WJP108240. This is the motronic fuel system using one pipe from pump to rear of injector rail and no return. I was returning from Scotland when the connector on the fuel rail let go!! loads of fuel all over the rear of the engine, exhausts etc - miracle no fire. So I now do not trust the connector, it went back on and with some cable-ties lasted the next 'worrying' two hours to get home but I need to replace it. Have tried Rimmers, Britpart, 4x4 etc and ran out of options on the internet. All say Land Rover no longer make or stock the part.
Anyone know of a souce? Can get second hand but??
Think mine has been on and off so often with various engine works that it has gone weak.
Cars made between 1995 and early 1998 had the Lucas GEMS system which is very different.

hi dek sorry to hear about your problem ,,ring joe at emmotts and ask him if hes got one off a 2001 0r better 2 ,,,let me know if your struggling to get one could poss get one from America / Canada cheers mozz

Good thinking and gave it a try. Although my wife speaks German te sites all had UK translation. But none could supply the part.

This is a bit worrying as the part is a vital element of the fuel supply, why has LandRover stopped supply?? After all the failure of this connector could be very dangerous! As the cars get older and more work is done on heads etc you need to disconnect the fuel feed pipe often and if this weakens the connection then this could lead to fires!!! my local Dealer confirmed this and is surprised that the part is no longer available. I also had the same comments from most of the suppliers too!!

Thanks Mozz for your offer if I have to go second hand!. I am investigating the Quick fit connector to see if one can be spliced in to existing pipework. Will keep you all informed.

Thank you P38 but Craddocks don't have any. Have now tried 14 different firms and no joy inc the USA so have ordered a second hand one from Emmotts of Colne (very helpful people) so will see what arrives and hope it does the job.
