Hi all has anybody got this sort of reply. i was selling my landy.
I'm really glad with the content of your mail,Thanks so much for everything, Pls help me take proper care of it because I believe by now it belongs to me.I am okay with the price and condition of the item.
Please DO NOT respond to anybody again .About the shippment,I will take care of that myself. I shall contact a shipping company that normally does that for me.I shall pay in UK Cashier Check Or Bank Draft that will clear before will proceed on the shipment immediately after it clear you will deduct your own cost and send the rest of the fund to the shipping company throught western union money transfer in order for the shipment to take place... I am really glad that you want me to get the Item and my family will be happy also when I get it.'cos it is coming to a good home.this was the reply is this a scam he saw my ad on this site in the forsale

Yep, one big fekin scam. See them all the time. Always Western Union, always the same unimaginative bollox. Send him an email back saying............er.........oh, that's it: "**** OFF"

Annoying that the bastids are back on here again tho'.

Yes
The Cashier Cheque or Bank Draft will be stolen or forged. The money will appear in your account and "Clear". Then, a few days later the bank will withdraw the transaction. In the meantime, you'll have lost the shipping costs and the vehicle.

Banks will allow you to withdraw against a "Cleared" payment, but the money is not irrevoccably yours until the payment has been "Given Value", which takes up to 10 working days for UK payments and up to 20 for those from overseas.

An alternative Scam is simple Identity theft, because you'll have to give him your name, address and bank account details so that he can make the transfer.

Yeah definately a scam, a bloke i work with has had bout three of those, all for different items!!

One of em, he was selling a phone on ebay, they racked the bidding up to summat stupid like £500, then when they won it, it was very similar to yours!!
So of course had to readvertise it, there a right pain in the butt!
