i've decided against the land rover i was looking at, the chassis was like a patchwork quilt, although it was a honest landy it just was not financially viable to but in the amount of work it needed to make it to a sell-able standard which for me was a no no. Bulkhead was completely gone, needed two new floors, two new outriggers, two rear out riggers, new shocks, springs, and just infront of the rear crossmember there where precarious looking patches. But after the winter i will know where to go to get a solid bulkhead from for £200
He was willing to sell it for £2000 with 5 freestyle alloys but im sure when i get round to buying one with a better chassis, ill negotiate a deal with him for a bulkhead wheels etc if and when i need them.
