Is this where my thermostat lives? (2.5 N/A)

Got a new one to pop in, and I'm going to change the coolant at the same time.

What's the ratio of water to coolant in this engine?

Thanks

normally tells yu on the anti-freeze can - try 50/50 to start with - diff ratios give different freezing levels.

THAT IS NOT WHERE YOUR THERMOSTAT LIVES!!!!!!

It's a cover to get to the injection timing,You will find what you are looking for at the front of the rocker cover to the left!!!!!

As for anti-freeze, just buy ready mixed coolant and bang that straight in.

We harped on about coolant mixes a bit back, I think the out come was to bung the whole container in and top up with water.

yer, just get hold of 4litres and top up with water. should yield a 33.33% mix... which is enough :)]

Gofish get yerself a Haynes book of lies, don't worry about the writing the pictures will point you in the right direction and it will have all the fluid capacities in there for you. Hopefully you won't start taking bits off that you don't need to.

Thanks for the help..

I know what I'm doing now...

I think that where the problem lies.. I got myself a Haynes manual, and as with others I've brought in the past, never find them that usefull.
