hi any 1 know where a can get a thermostat for freelander 18 petrol gs its the one in the sealed plastic houseing down by the rad or as any 1 got the part number thanks

Dont - go for the remote thermostat and reduce your chances of HGF.

seems like it - I must admit after posting , I did wonder if the OP already had the RTS, but it is always a good idea to be safe, rather than sorry.
