I remember reading a thread
It was related to the output shaft on a r380 box
Asking if there should be a nut on the thread that goes into the Tbox

Any chance some one knows what the thread was called or have a link, so as I can have a read through

from memory theres no nut on the back of an R380 output shaft but the 77 has a thread cut though

there is no thread on an r380 and lt77 thread is only used for the special tools to strip and rebuild in 4x4 uses ,car lt77s did have output flange so needed a thread but are different shafts but since they came first it seemed useful to retain thread
