Ok so as some of you may know from my leaking fuel injector pump thread I recently UP/DOWN? graded from the Disco TD5.
The problems begin ;-)
actually not many so far, my epsom green 38 comes with 170k on the BMW 2.5
and spring converted (coz the Td5 bled me dry) it has the hot start fix but not sure if its chipped.
Cue... Q1 how do I find out/ what do I look for?
It comes with 3 original keys, No.1 works fine, other two work mechanically but fob (after adding new bats to both) are non responsive, I have tried various sync techniques but to no avail, while in the ignition the key led flashes but buttons not working.
I have the EKA and it works.
Cue... Q2 can anyone help?
The 38 is a 98 Dt with 19" 5v spoke, wrap bullbar and roofrails (which I may shelve til req) unwanted drag, mpg n all that
2 new tyres going on on Monday and hopefull remedy a strange feeling in the front end, seems to lurch to the N/S if i hit a bump, pothole/drain cover.
not badly but tyres are worn and 2 new accelera came with it.
