Afternoon.
First time in this section of the forum as I used to hang out in the P38 and Freelander sections, but as the ball and chain has just bought a 90 it looks like i'll be in here now.
So first question of he day is, apart from contacting the DVLA etc and requesting historical information, are there any telltale signs that this was ex-mil?
Its a 90, 1989 hard back. It looks to be originally blue, there is a 24v warning light fitted to the instrument cluster although pretty I haven't seen a 2nd battery. It has a NATO hitch fitted and a toggle switch on the steering column which allows the engine to continue running after the keys have been removed. The Father in-law says there is a baked bean sized canister above the rear axle with a wire coming out of it leading to nothing (but as it looks grim outside I'm not willing to check this information)
If its blue would that be RAF? or just a good respray after it was demobbed? Would there be any drilled holes for equipment that I could look for anywhere that aren't standard, ie radio mountings?
Thanks in advance
