hi there
ive been looking for a 1 button fob and notice there getting rare and also site remotekey seem a bit expensive. question has anybody come across a universal fob.

I looked when my fob stopped working on my 300tdi
I now just use my key
So will keep my eyes on this post

did you pop it open, usual culprit is the button coming off the board, you can resolder it on if you got a decent iron and a steady hand

Got ya, never had 1 with any 200's ive had just the 2 button 300's

My one acts like it needs a new battery so iv put 2 in and is still the same , the key works just fine lol

One thing I did notice tho if you lock the car with the fob you must unlock it with the fob or it will not start,. Took me 15 mins last time to make it work so not used it since

You need to know what frequency they are. There are a number of varieties. They worth what ever you can get for them. Stick them on eBay and see what happens

could you find out the frequency and also the code in side. and coluour of circuit is as i know there is red and blue not sure if this matters so trying to match it up.what price you asking for it diff intrested. i have one working fine, just after a spare cheers
