Could someone please tell me where the temperature sensor is for my 300tdi?

I can find what looks like 2 senders on the top of the engine where the bleed screw is. Is it one of those. Cus they look diferent to the ones on Ebay. They have two terminals whereas the ones on Ebay only have 1 terminal

My engines temperature constantly reads zero.

Temp sensors are, coolant AMR1425. Engine management PRC3505 yellow or PRC3357 green.

Just Google the part numbers.

OK, so where on the engine are they and which one operates the temp gauge please?

underneath thermostat output is temp sender the one in the middle of lhs of head is not needed unless yours is edc

How do I know if its EDC, in fact what is EDC?

I've never seen a TDi engine but this look like the one u want, if as stated it's below the thermostat housing.
