Where is the second temperature sensor thingy on a 300tdi? One is on the back o the water pump housing.. I was told there was another on the head somewhere?? Can anyone shed some light on this for me cos me gauge is still goin spaky. It still does it when the sensor on the water pump is disconnected, so that one isn't the problem and its definately not over heating cos it does it from cold.

See where the thermostat housing is, on the drivers side, just to the left of the housing you should see one in there.

There is one on the thermostat housing and one on the top of the head, by cylinder number 3 but that is for the EGR only I believe, I put a 300tdi in to a old TD 90 and couldn't get the temp gauge to work properly, the original TD temp gauge was not compatible with the 300tdi and had to change the gauge

Your meant to match the sender to the guage.
