My 2007 TDV8 heater seems to have suddenly stopped, the lights on the switch pack all light up but it doesn't matter what speed I select on the controls neither hot or cold air comes out of any front vents.

The row 2 blower works fine tho.

Is it a fuse or a resistor or something simple?

Hey there, have you checked yours fuses?
Is there anything else not functioning as well, something else may have blown the fuse?
A radio swap or other work carried out?

Everything else is working fine. I haven't done any work to the car at all

A fuse check may be a good place to start

Well I would start with fuse/ relay. ( don’t know about relay)

His a bit from the manual I have .

“Blower
The blower is installed between the air inlets and the evaporator, and consists of 2 open hub, centrifugal fans powered by a single electric motor. Operation of the electric motor is controlled by the ATC module via the blower motor control module (voltage amplifier) installed in the outlet of the RH fan.
To produce the seven blower speeds the ATC module outputs a stepped control voltage between 0 and 8 V to the blower motor control module, which regulates a battery power feed from the central junction box (CJB) to the blower. The control voltage changes, in 1 V steps, between 2 V (blower speed 1) and 8 V (blower speed 7). If the control voltage is less than 2 V the blower is off.

Guess small looking digging needed.

So the fuse is fine but when I have run an OBD2 diagnostic there is a software coms error to the cluster control module.

If its software then I can't do much with that, can anyone recommend a garage in the Coventry area that could look at it? I would prefer not to pay main dealer prices

Quick update..... so after a good few weeks of the RR in and out the garage they finally sorted it today. I took it in to have the cockpit stripped down and the heater blower assessed. However they managed to get assess to it and found it seized so they lubricated it and manually worked it and after about half an hour it worked loose and is now blowing fine!

Odd. That would bring us back to Datatek's comment about damp. You do run the aircon at all times to keep the cabin dry?

Yep.cabin as far as I can tell is and was dry no obvious damp.
