Hi all. I have just got a defender tdci. It has a snorkel fitted and I have been told it restricts the air needed. Is this right and is there something I can do. I'm sure land rover wouldn't make a defender that can't take a snorkel...........would they??

Does rong a bell about tdci's not liking mushroom type tops but believe they're ok with safari type.
Has an air ram kind of effect. N. B. Remember to turn it round to face backwards before wading

My tdci has a mushroom top snorkel runs fine with it, no issues so far

I'd heard it causes you to tip over to the right.

My mate runs with it round facing the back all the time so sticks cant get in when green laning
