Right, Have just bought above doors for my 200tdi.
Electric window operation is not a problem, But how will i get the central locking to work ?

Please help

So you have bought a pair of tdci doors to fit to your 200tdi.
There won't be any wiring in the Land Rover for that, you'll have to hard wire it.
From what l remember central locking is not that difficult to wire up.

Why splash out on tdci doors? Nothing difficult on winding windows down? Central looking isn't really needed. Just makes fitting something simple more time consuming and more complicated than it needs to be.

Central locking is nice to have, if it's on the back door as well.
I would imagine tdci doors are the easiest to get in good condition.
Just need to try and avoid buying stolen ones.

I originally bought two wind up window doors off a 110 from a breakers, But they where so badly damaged by TNT that i drove 2 hrs to take them back ! The breaker only had a front ended 90 but that had electric windows with central locking so i bought the safari door to match so have the set.
Yes am planning on hard wiring but wondered if any one else had already done the hard work.

Central locking motors on the front doors should have 5 wires. Really you need to get the control box to make it all work. Should be a fairly universal fitment. The back door (and 2nd row doors on a 110) can use standard 2-wire motors. I fitted central locking to my 90 with a universal kit.

I bought an aftermarket kit for about £20 off e bay and wired it into the existing door loom. Means having an extra fob, but not found it a big deal
Hope this helps

Usually you can lock/unlock the doors with the key- either front door will operate the rest. So you could just not bother with the extra key fob. The kit I bought didn't come with one and was meant to be worked this way. I just connected it to the outputs from my alarm system.

The land rover central locking master lock (drivers door) only has 4 wires, That's why i asked for help
