Hi Guys, has been a while since I posted here after enjoying L322 ownership for the last 5 years, following years of P38 ownership.
I am experiencing the inevitable TD6 gearbox issues, approaching 140k miles.

Does anyone on here know where I can purchase a new Sonnax valve block assembly here in the UK?

I have contacted one of their UK distributors who were unable to provide one.
However they did helpfully provide me with a company that will refurb my existing one.
Seems like the best available option.
 
There’s no longer such a thing as a Sonnax valve body assembly. I would suggest that you send your worn unit to someone like Valve Bodies UK http://www.valvebodyuk.co.uk/ or STA Aylesbury https://www.staautogearbox.co.uk/ who own a Hydra-Test machine that can test the complete assembly and identify which, if any, of the valves needs replacing with the Sonnax versions.

Hi Guys, quick update on this. I had the valve block refurbished and tested. There was an issue with the 4th gear piston and cylinder, which was reamed out and a sonnax item put in its place.

However, upon reinstalling the valve block, every second ignition cycle/drive it goes into Trans Failsafe. Scanning for fault codes I get P0733. Gear monitoring 3. If I clear the code and drive the car it drives fine, until I switch it off and drive it again. Then the same thing happens.

Is there a procedure I should try to reset the adaptive values to cure this, or is it the end of the road for my L322?!

Using Hawkeye pro diagnostics, if I test each solenoid, the command completes and seem to be working as they should.
