Hmmm not sure n all of that really,
Hard to tell if it’s not warped,
With the work involved to strip the head and rebuild etc it’s probably easier to use another engine

Your right, another engine is probably just as quick.
The bonus would be hearing it before buying.

Yeah it’s defo a risk buying a used engine,
On the plus side, if I buy one complete then I’ll have plenty of bits to sell to get some money back
