Still on this trail of power (or not!), what does everyone get on the rev gauge before you run outta puff?
Mines 3300 rpm-which dont seem right
 
depending on which gear, but usually starts to lag about 3300 yes. only time ive felt it pull past that was after my remap and in 4th gear accelerating around a car. I was about to change gear when I realised "hang on, its still pulling?!" :D

Mine pulls upto approaching 4k but very rarely does it go to 4K it sounds fookin awfull that's why lol...... I only ever let it go over 3k when excellerating flat out pulling out of a junction/roundabout etc etc It's a Diesel at the end of the day....all the usuable 'Power/Torque's' between about 1500 - 3K :)
 
no, thats maxxed-i dont drive like that all the time!!
Im tryin to search for my lack of power but if you all rev to roughly the same thats good news...
Probably something to do with mud tyres, rack, 3mm steel bumpers etc etc!!

Remap it is then!
 
mines still pulling at 4k with all the excess junk ive bolted to it. id go bas for a remap for a remap.
 
Mine pulls to well over 3K but I never really use this much revs. She hits a harsh spot just at 3K that smooths out again after about 400 more revs or so.

No remap or anything. Just standard.
