Hi peoples

I need to remove the viscous fan at the weekend, any tips?

I tried last weekend but coulnt budge it. Is it a normal right handed thread or is it a left hander? How do you stop the pulley spinning or am I doing something wrong? I just put a big spanner on the nut and gave it a whack.

I removed mine a while back you need a special spanner or one of your own bent a bit to fit down behind the fan and stop the spindle from turning, the undo the nut as norm... i remember it being seriously tight...........
