Can anyone tell me which transfer box I most likely have in my 99 110 Td5, or how to identify it. Thanks. G.

I believe its the LT 230 transfer box. Same as on 300tdi and Td5's.

Its just that I am eventually having new clutch fitted and I have been offered a 1:2 transfer box and considering my options as to whether I can justify the €200 and get it put in at the same time as clutch is done. What benefits will I gain?
The box was fitted in a V8, not even sure if it will fit as its coming off an older truck with auto box.
