Does anyone know how I can get the front "glass" off a TD5 speedo so I can work on the dial, and then reassemble it properly?

Im not certain, but I think when I looked at doing mine, the front black ring is screwed on to the housing, securing the glass. The problem is that the black ring is secured on mine. Maybe with some sort of loctite? I would think that heating it up could release it, but it’s a big risk when you consider the cost of a TD5 speedo.
