How much movement should i expect with the rear anti-roll bar links? With the car on the ground on its wheels, I can 'rotate both'. With the nearside one I can rotate with just fore finger and thumb. The offside link is much harder to 'rotate'.

Just wondered if this is a sign of wear or normal. Car has done 85k.

Thks.

with a bar can you get free play ,as they will twist because their ball joints ,usually get knock over bumps

As James has just said you should be able to rotate them slightly as they are balljoints. They will show when they are worn by knocking noises as you drive along and over rougher ground.

Aftermarket ones from Paddocks are about £10, LR one are about £18 each - if you change any, change both.
